Informada was founded by Dr. Edith Bracho-Sanchez, a physician and journalist from Caracas, Venezuela, who is now based in New York City, and Eden Pontz, a journalist and former news executive with years of experience in the nonprofit sector. After helping Informada get off the ground, Eden transitioned to an advisory role and Edith has continued to oversee day to day operations.

Informada is a response to the overwhelming amount of information that exists in the world today. We understand the need to be informed with accurate information, while at the same time knowing most Latinas don’t have the time to read through several newspapers and fact check the latest chisme they saw on social. We want to do that for you and bring you the best of the best. A curation of it all, by Latinas for Latinas.
